Hi:

The dashboard Production Manager 2024R2 has a Work Center Queue widget showing the Quantity to Produce. The Quantity to Produce column is the quantity to produce for production orders planned, released,  and in process. I expected it to be (quantity to produce – quantity completed – quantity in process = remaining quantity to produce). However there is no such column in the GI.

The solution could be to have CoPilot that answers my question “ How can I see the remaining quantity in the GI?”

See more details in the attached document.

Thanks for your help

Hi @toonsix

Thank you for your suggestion! In general, such posts belongs to the https://community.acumatica.com/ideas, but let me elaborate.

I can narrow down the case your are describing to the consultancy for no-code Acumatica customization. And it is already semi-automatically achievable by the agent we currently piloting has used our self-service resources as a “learning” base. You will still need to do some “connecting dots” work with the existing GIs. In my opinion, there is more likely never be a situation when each DAC has some sort of business annotation for it because of the complexity of the ERP. But hey, maybe we will build and agent teach an agent for that too 😉

Here as an example of integrating agent’s assistance with your Acumatica experience while fine-tuning prompts to get the exact result.

I frequently use Agent for such cases. My most mind-blowing experience was when I had an Excel formula, and with Agent's help, I managed to modify it for GI syntax and DACs instead of Excel fields in just a few attempts.
