Production order is not created from Inventory Planning (MRP) display

Just a quick follow up here in case someone else experiences this.  The master financial calendar was not created for this year.  Creating the calendar allows me to create production orders as expected.

Another way that this can happen is if your planned order action date is earlier than the effective date of the Bill of Material for them item.

​@ltussing03 did you get this issue resolved?  We are having the exact same issue on 24R2.  We just upgraded and were not having the issue prior to.

Daniel, in my case it was the financial period was not open as noted earlier.  I would try to create the production order manually and see if you have any problems manually.

It seems that this is a known issue, and currently it was fixed in 25R1 version. Try to use or check the issue on the Create Production orders screen.

• We are able to create production orders manually and from the Create Production Orders screen.
• I uninstalled ALL customizations and that did not resolve the issue
• Financial period is open
• I opened a support case

Is Acumatica going to fix this issue on 24R2?  I assume you have many customers using this feature of creating production orders from Inventory Planning Display.  We can’t live without it, and we’re not ready to upgrade to 25R1.

I’ve been told by support that the issue is fixed in 25R1.  This is not an acceptable solution to me, we just upgraded to 24R2.

Is anyone else out there experiencing the same issue?

Yes, it will be also fixed in 24R2, however we don’t have ETA yet.
