For other prepayments, I can still apply prepayment for the previous period, why can't I post this prepayment, the system is forced to choose January 2024 or later?

Thanks, @Laura02 , but I can still create some prepayments on 01-2024 and apply to period 12-2023; what's the difference between them or any rule I don't know?
