Row Set Issue Account Groups on the Balance Sheet

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hi,

I have a strange issue. I am creating a row set using account groups for the Balance Sheet. However, when I select the Data Source for a line item that has a G/L type for an Account Group, if I select Account to Expand and select a Row Description it is not properly displaying the correct row description. Is this a known issue or by design. Let me know.  This is for 2022 R2. Note: This is not an issue when I am using Account Groups on the Income Statement side.

Thanks,

Frances

Hello @fpantelidakis65 ,

Look at column A in the Column set that is connected to the Balance Sheet report definition. Some of the ‘demo’ reports have Calc type with a formula instead of simply using the Description column type with account description from the Chart of Accounts.

I usually change the calc column to a description column; doing so will bring the behavior you expect, like your Income Statement. HTH.
