Restriction Group for SubAccounts


Hello,

 

is it possible to have a Restriction Group on Sub Accounts?

Yes, create a restriction group and choose the appropriate group type.

 

The below example is allowing admin to access subaccount value FIN and block the users that are not included in the group to see that. This is how type A works.

 

 

Logging in as user that is not included in the group, I don’t see the FIN segment value.

still not working for me.  What did you enter in the entity Type, Specific Type and Specific Module in the Registration Groups screen please?

Hi,

 

When I attempt this and get to the GL Account Access section.

My tabs say users, accounts, subaccounts.

I notice in the screenshots that yours say Subaccount Segments.

Can you advise on any additionial setup that may have been done?

Hey @Wpratley7 ,
Please ensure the Subaccounts feature is enabled, segments have been setup using the Segmented Keys & then Subaccounts have been created in the system. And then in the GL Accounts Access form, users can get the list of subaccount segments under the Subaccounts tab, as you can see in your screenshot, & then select the required segments.
