Yes, but we also have to reclassify something else at the same time. For example, we can reclassify to a different Account with different Transaction Description, then move the transaction back where it belongs (reclassify Account again).
I did a quick test and it is still possible to change description at the same time as account in 2024 R1.
I recommend trying this exercise in your testing environment before performing it in live, to make sure you are happy with the results.
