Hi Team,

Do we have the concept of “Low value Assets” in Acumatica. Which means if an asset has minimal cost then it should be considered as low value assets and it should be depreciated within a year or less. Even though it has useful life more than a year. Any threshold limit is available for the assets are considered as a low value asset.

Awaiting for your replies.

Hello @nithyashankar71 ,

It may be helpful to know for what country you are calculating depreciation, because the FA Depreciation Help has special areas for some geographical regions.

In the US we use some methods of “Accelerated” and “Bonus” depreciation. These may help your situation.

Hi Laura,

I have checked your mentioned article but this is not actually I needed. Thanks for your help. In other ERP system,  we have a concept called “ low value asset” for an Asian country. I Hope Acumatica delivers US Depreciation methods.

I have an idea to create a custom depreciation method and will test and let you know the results.
