Hi,

If i have to migrate data from quickbooks and customer requires to have 3 or 4 years of transactions such as SO/PO, AR Invoice, AP Bill (origin documents) in Acuamtica, it’s possible to do it using Import/Export Scenarios?

Thanks!

Hi @rodrigocid34

You can use standard import functionality(Import scenarios) and use supported file formats ( say excel,csv, SQL). So, one has to get the data in one of these file format from quicbooks. There is no out of the box option available to setup an import data provider for Quick books file format.

Hope this clarifies.

Ok, @vkumar we were thinking on exporting from quickbooks to excel format and then import the GL transactions and the corresponding support documents as AP bill, AR invoice and also the PO’s, SO’s and Quotes.

Thank you!!

@rodrigocid34

This is a common issue with every system we replace.  We typically tell our customers that we will bring over the past 2 years’ worth of trial balances but not transaction detail unless they want to pay for it.  Doing so adds a bunch of time to the implementation.  As a cheaper alternative, they can keep a since QB license to access historical transactions.

What are you charging to bring over all the documents and details into Acumatica?
