How To Export Acumatica Financial Report Data into Separate Tabs in Microsoft Excel

When generating financial reports,  users have long requested the option to export consolidated reports and unit sets to separate tabs in Microsoft Excel. Instead, Acumatica publishes financial report data to a single Excel tab requiring significant manual copy and paste work to create the desired report.

It is possible to make changes to the report and use the power of Excel macros to accomplish splitting the report into multiple sheets.  For details on how, see the following article:

Well done Sharon, creative solution!

Looking at the example, it does not appear that a second sheet with the drill-down values is a part of this, but I would like to verify.

Great result but I have customers coming from FRx / Management Reporter environments who are used to exporting a financial report and getting two tabs: one at a summary level the other with the detail support. Export to Excel can be configured as the output method, avoiding the need to do that as a separate step.

Is anyone aware of an Acumatica add-on that will provide hat functionality?

Great Feature.
