We are currently going through an audit. How do I get documentation of a backup being tested for successful restoration?

Hello Enriquey,

Here is a link to Acumatica instructions for creating a new Test Tenant and copying another Tenant, step by step.  Let us know if you need further help.

Hello,

Make a Snapshot of your tenant and restore it to a new test Tenant. Take screen shots of the steps you took to make and restore the Snapshot.

Once restored, add screen shots comparing screens and reports between production tenant and the new Test tenant to prove they match. For example, show the Finance —> Journal Transactions Preview List, AR & AP Aged Period Sensitive reports,  Inventory Valuation report, Fixed Assets list from both tenants. Record the screen shots comparing the reports along with documentation of how the backup was created and restored in a Word document or on an email to your Auditor.

@Laura02 Thanks for the information. I’m still a rookie. Can you provide a step by step?
