Hello,

We turned on the various location tracking settings by User. However, when I view the location tracking history, it only shows me the longitude and latitude.

How can we view this information in a map form?

Yes, it’s possible to see the live location of a device (a staff memeber’s device) on the Staff Appointments on Map (FS301100). On the Appointment History on Map (FS301200), you can see on the map the trajectory of the staff memeber during the selected day.

Screenshots:

(Tested using sales demo and a real mobile device)

(the live location is shown along with the tooltip that indicates the employee ID, with the time this location was last collected)

The green line is the route that the staff member followed that day.

Configuration:

  1. On the Service Management Preferences (FS100100), enable the setting Show Location Tracking under the Calendars & Maps tab.
  2. Ensure the Bing Map API Key is added.
  3. Track Location needs to be enabled in Location Tracking tab from Users (SM201010) screen. Also make sure that you're testing within the hours configured in this tab
  4. (warning) GPS tracking needs to be enabled for Acumatica app in the user's mobile device
  5. Consider also, that the location is only tracked during the working time of the employee. So, make sure that on the Employee Calendar the correct start time and end time is selected for that user that you want to track.

The Location Tracking History (SM202000) form only shows the history of the data used to draw the points on the map for Staff Appointments on Map (FS301100) and Appointment History on Map (FS301200).

I hopre this helps, feel free to test this and check out how it works.

Hi @kelsy

Currently, Acumatica shows location tracking as longitude and latitude coordinates, but map integration might require external tools or customization.
You can use it manually by copying longitude and latitude into Google Map.

Best Regards,
