Compliance integration

We are a construction and field service company.  We are currently running our own compliance software that we had custom built for us many years ago.  We have basically outgrown it, and the cost and time to maintain it has become burdensome.  We are looking for suggestions on something that will tie into acumatica’s field service and construction projects for doing hazard assessment, circle checks, inspections, etc. so we don’t have to maintain 2 systems like we are now (prevent duplicate entries and human error).  Being able to do it through mobile is a must.

I have gone through the marketplace and there is nothing specific to this.  The only integrations that were close were some forms software, but they didn’t look like they talked nice to field service out of the box.

I appreciate your help.

Have you reviewed GoFormz or Asite’s AppBuilder?  These products offer the ability to create custom forms and checklists, which sounds like what you may be looking to do.  They are both integrated with Acumatica.

Have you checked out HammerTech? They are a newer ISV partner and compliance is one of their biggest features. Here is a link to their marketplace page and website. They are anxious to work with our partners and customers and would be able to sit down with you to understand your needs and then tailor the integration to meet your needs.

Although not a full blow “compliance” solution, ISV Single Source Systems will be releasing the Questionnaire Designer in September (published soon on Marketplace).    Here’s a short description…

QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGNER
Inspections, Punch Lists, Surveys, Checklists, Evaluations.  Any time a list of responses needs to capture data, it can be done with the Questionnaire Designer.  These too can be rendered with embedded data from supported document types within Acumatica.  It will support use on a mobile device.

no solution yet, as a big part of the compliance would be tying it into the field service so the appointments have the hazard assessments in them.  May have to get a customization made just for field service and then use another system for construction.  Still trying to figure out best way.

We looked at those solutions and they don’t integrate with acumatica nicely with both projects and field service which makes it fragmented (this is mostly due acumatica and not the product itself).  They are also very expensive solutions for a company our size,  we are adapting our current inhouse solution instead as it will fit our needs and provide better value.

@andrew15 - Were you able to find a resolution outside of your internal inhouse solution? I ask because we are in the process of implementing Acumatica, both Field Service and Projects; where your challenge could help us as well.

No solution yet,  for the price of what is out there, we will probably move our field service to a better software solution that has safety and compliance and project management in it already and just keep acumatica for back office accounting only.
