I’m trying to setup new bank feeds for WF commercial accounts but cannot find the right institution in Plaid or MX. An article from last year mentioned using the MX Bank Feed Type… but Wells Fargo CEO is not an option. Not sure if something changed on the MX side of things or I need to search for it a different way, I tried just about all I could think of. Using the Wells Fargo institution with my credentials does not work since the sign in page is different for commercial accounts.

With regards to WF CEO account, MX has decided to hide the visibility of this financial institution connectivity due to the connectivity maintenance required (from MX’s side). This financial institution is not visible in PLAID as well.
We expect to get an update in another 4 months time on this financial institution’s connectivity status from MX’s side.
As an alternative approach (since this financial institution is not available), you could try with SFTP file integration approach (as explained in following article). Please note that this feature is available only on latest acumatica versions.

We have a customer also who is looking at WF. We had a call with the WF rep and reviewed and were able to test to see if WF was available. It was and LOOKS like it might work, but we did not make any official connection since the customer does not have a WF account to connect yet. The URL looked correct, so it looks like it might be possible. This is from the MX login:

We just ran into some issues whilst testing a live account, the connection could not be made through either MX or Plaid. Seems to still be a limitation.

I’ve went back to test the MX connection and was able to get it to connect… HOWEVER, the information that is synced over is not descriptive and not helpful when reconciling transactions. This makes this connection/bank feed unusable in it’s current form. The transaction description should be basic information to be synced over from WF so I am at a loss as to how the bank feed does not bring over a better description field. We will explore the SFTP file transfer now that we have upgraded to 25R1 so we can move away from manually uploading transactions daily.
We use the bank feed throughout the month instead of uploading the statement at the end of the month so that we can stay on top of our daily bank activity, which doesn’t seem to be a common use case per many of the conversations I’ve had with consultants in the past.
The most recent update from MX indicated that the Wells Fargo CEO account is not fully operational. We have conducted an additional follow-up with MX to verify this status.
You can choose to dynamically map the received data to Acumatica if the aforementioned transactions are coming from the Wells Fargo (not the CEO one) MX feed. The help document that follows provides an explanation of this mapping option.

Note - Please note that the name and original description fields are captured at financial institutions transaction level as and when these transaction gets processed in the financial institution side.
If you still needs clarification or checkup then please contact our support so that we could verify and check this transaction flow.
We have received the update from MX and they confirmed that the Wells Fargo CEO account is operational now.
