Attaching a note to a new shipment at the time of creation

We are finding that when users create a shipment from an order and try to save a record-level note, they intuitively think that saving will both create the shipment and attach the note. The best option we can have found to successfully attach a record-level note is to have them create the record (save), enter the note, then save again.

Any suggestions that would make this process more intuitive would be very welcome.

@edwardoliver16   By default, Acumatica copies the Sales Order header notes to the Shipment record when you save the Shipment for the first time with the Configuration in the Order Types screen.

If you want to add a different note instead of the Sales Order notes, a customization is required.

Thank you very much! I think we had a difference between order types where this was not selected - once reconciled, our concern/issue was resolved.
