Training Description: This webinar provides the basic implementation of the e-commerce functionality of Acumatica ERP in a midsize company. You will learn how to set up the synchronization of customers, products, and orders between your Shopify store and your Acumatica ERP instance, as well as explore available synchronization features.
Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:
- Day 1: Initial Configuration and Manual Synchronization. In this session you will learn what general steps are involved in establishing a connection between Acumatica ERP and the Shopify store and in performing the initial configuration of these systems and how you can define export and import filtering settings.
- Day 2: Synchronization of Customers, Customer Locations, and Products. In the second session, you will learn how to set up the synchronization of individual and business customers and customer locations so that they can be both exported to the Shopify store and imported from the Shopify store to Acumatica ERP, how to synchronize individual customers that have multiple locations and business customers. Also, you will learn how to export stock and non-stock items to the Shopify store and how to export product images from Acumatica ERP to the Shopify store.
- Day 3: Synchronization of Product Availability and Orders. In this session you will learn how to define how the available quantities of items exported to the Shopify store should be calculated, set up quantity tracking for stock items exported to the Shopify store, and synchronize the available quantities of exported stock items for which quantity tracking is turned on. You will learn how to import orders and payments from a Shopify store to Acumatica ERP and how to set up tax synchronization if you collect tax on products you sell in the Shopify store.
- Day 4: Synchronization of Orders. Scheduling Synchronization and Troubleshooting. In this session you will learn how to import orders with gi cards from a Shopify store to Acumatica ERP, how to set up the import of sales orders with discounts from the Shopify store to Acumatica ERP, set up automation schedules for data preparation and processing, turn on real-time synchronization of entities, and configure automated synchronization for optimized performance. You will also learn how to monitor day-to-day e-commerce activities and identify synchronization issues and process individual synchronization records that the system failed to process.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Instructor: Tushar Pandita
In his current role, Tushar analyzes business issues, defines requirements, construct workflow charts, diagrams and process flows, study system capabilities, and writes specifications for integration with external e-commerce platforms. He partners with other departments like Distribution and Financials to develop integrations with external E-commerce platforms (like Shopify, BigCommerce, Amazon etc). He keeps leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
Prior to joining Acumatica, Tushar was working as a Business Analyst in Jesta IS.
Prerequisites
For this webinar, attendees are expected to complete the following courses and be familiar with the basic processes that can be performed in Acumatica ERP.
Advance Preparations
Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes. However, you need to create a Shopify store account before the class.
We strongly recommend that you create a new Shopify store for testing purposes. You can either sign up for a trial account or create a new development store in your Shopify Partner account if you have one.
To sign up for a Shopify trial account, follow the instructions at the Shopify website. Make a note of the login and password that you have specified, because you will need them in activities to sign in to the admin area of your store.
