Training Description: This webinar is based on a set of examples that demonstrate the general approach to customizing Acumatica ERP. It is designed to give you ideas about how to develop your own embedded applications through the customization tools. As you go through the course, you will continue the development of the customization for the cell phone repair shop, which was performed in the previous training courses of the T series (which we recommend that you take before completing the current course).

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:

• Day 1: Creating a Simple Processing Form. In this session, you will learn how to create a simple processing form (that is, one that does not have any filtering parameters defined).
• Day 2: Adding Filtering Parameters to the Processing Form. Implementing a Custom PXAccumulator Attribute. In this session, you will learn how to create processing pages with filtering parameters and how to use the PXDBCalced attribute. You will also learn how to implement a custom attribute derived from the PXAccumulator attribute.
• Day 3: Modifying the Processing Form. Redirection to a Report at the End of Processing. In this session, you will learn how to specify the values of the fields updated by a PXAccumulator attribute, use the PXDBScalar attribute, append and replace attributes on a certain DAC field within a particular graph, and define the external presentation of field values. You will also learn how to redirect to a report at the end of the processing delegate and how to include a report in a customization project.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the T240 Processing Forms course, which is part of the Application Developer badge. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

Prerequisites­

• You should be familiar with the basic concepts of Acumatica Framework and complete the following training courses:
  • T200 Maintenance Forms
  • T210 Customized Forms and Master-Detail Relationship
  • T220 Data Entry and Setup Forms
  • T230 Actions
  • T270 Workflow API
• You should have proficiency with C#, knowledge of main concepts of ASP.NET and web development, and experience with SQL server.

Advance Preparations: None. Attendees will have access to the virtual machine with the pre-installed Acumatica ERP cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
