I100 Integration Scenarios (CPE)

Audience: This course is designed for consultants, system administrators, and programmers who intend to learn to use the Acumatica screen-based web services API.

Acumatica ERP version: 2022 R2

Training Description: This webinar demonstrates the processes of creating import and export scenarios and processing data by using the created scenarios. And the lessons will guide you step by step through the specifics of integration scenarios.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over four days as follows:

  • Day 1: Data Providers and Import Scenarios. In webinar, you will learn how to create and configure a CSV provider, create and configure an Excel provider, modify and configure a file provider, and link a file provider to an existing file and to create a scenario for importing new records and finally, to import records using the created scenario.
  • Day 2: Import Scenarios. In this webinar, you will learn how to Delete records by using an import scenario, apply restrictions on the source and target fields in the import scenario Import records with automatically generated IDs through an import scenario, search for the imported records by a custom key and by a column of the lookup table, import master-detail records with IDs and automatic numbering, update detail lines of the imported records by using import scenarios. And also apply actions to import records, configure an import scenario to import country-specific data correctly and select items for document lines from a dialog box in import scenarios.
  • Day 3: Simplified Import Scenarios and Export Scenarios. Here, you will learn how to create a simplified import scenario, import data using that scenario, create a scenario to export master records, create a scenario to export master-detail records, create a scenario to export records with attributes. As a final step, we will create a scenario that will allow us to export records from a generic inquiry and then export the records based on the created scenarios.
  • Day 4: Performance Optimization and File Synchronization. The purpose of this webinar is to give you an overview of how to optimize the performance of import scenarios.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the I100 Integration Scenarios 2022 R2, Developer course, which is part of both Support Specialist and Technical Specialist badges. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Instructor: Omar Ghazi

Omar Ghazi is a Senior Product Manager for Integrations bringing enthusiasm and empathy in helping customers learn how they can leverage Acumatica Cloud ERP and the vast ecosystem of integrations to achieve success.

Previously, Omar helped bring business automation, machine intelligence/machine health monitoring, modern MES system, payment, and mobile solutions to ERP market, empowering small and medium businesses alike. Before that, he worked for a large process manufacturer managing process temperature sensor portfolio for primarily oil & gas industries.

Additionally, Omar also worked as a Product Compliance Engineer—helping design, test, market, and sell measurement devices installed in hazardous locations with proper government and privately regulated standards.

Prerequisites­

For this training, you should be aware of the basic functionality of the finance, inventory, order management, and organization functional areas of Acumatica ERP. You are supposed to understand the principles of how users interact with the system, and to fill in Acumatica ERP forms. To familiarize yourself with the basic configuration and processes that are performed in the finance functional area, we recommend that you take the F100 Financial Basics course.

Advance Preparations

None.  Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.

* We offer CPE credits for this course if you attend the course in the format of online instructor-led RingCentral session. During the session, we measure your attentiveness by using polling questions at random times. We provide the certificate if you have answered polling questions during the session. To get the certificate with the confirmed CPE credits, please send a request to training@acumatica.com after the session is complete.

Please note that if you are interested in getting the CPE credits, you need to install the RingCentral application to your computer. The polling questions are not displayed if you use the browser version of RingCentral.
