Audience: Acumatica cloud ERP users who are involved in configuration of generic inquiries and dashboards.

Acumatica ERP Experience Required: 3-6 months.

Training Description: The Dashboard and Widget Design webinar will walk you through the process of creating dashboards and filling it with various widgets that use prepared generic inquiries.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:

  • Day 1: Designing Dashboard Contents. In this session, you will learn how to identify the basic elements of an Acumatica ERP dashboard and their functions, list the basic steps of designing a dashboard, modify your copy of a dashboard, define a dashboard as your home page, and reset a dashboard. You will also learn how to create a dashboard form and manage access rights for the viewing and configuration of dashboards.
  • Day 2: Configuring Widgets. In this session, you will learn how to recognize the types of widgets and their main features, configure different types of widgets, and filter the data that is used for a widget. Moreover, you will learn how to configure header, table, link, and embedded page widgets. You will also learn how to configure KPI widgets.
  • Day 3: Configuring Chart Widgets and Filtering Widget Data. In this session, you will learn how to configure chart widgets and how to filter widget data.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Instructor: Benjamin Crisman

In his current role, Benjamin Crisman works with the L2 Product Support team to provide solutions to issues relating to Finance, Payroll, Projects/Construction, Field Services, Property Management, among others. Benjamin also has extensive experience with Dashboards, GIs, Report Designer, and OData feeds and has handled almost 5000 cases since he started in 2018, a top contributor on his teams.

 

Prior to joining Acumatica Benjamin worked at Sage as an L2 Support Analyst for the Sage 100 Contractor software, covering the whole gamut of the software. In addition to this Benjamin has a long history of outstanding customer service and managing expectations while delivering stellar results, holding supervisory/management positions at Netflix, Starbucks, and Copart Auto Auction before finding his calling at Acumatica.

 

Apart from his support and technology background Benjamin has also worked for a photography studio as well as extensive theatre training performing for a couple of Hollywood’s most well-known stars under the guidance of John Kirby.

 

Prerequisites­

You should complete the A150 Getting Started with Acumatica ERP and Data Retrieval and Analysis courses and be familiar with working with generic inquiries in Acumatica ERP.

Advance Preparations

None.  Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
