Audience: This webinar is intended for implementation consultants of the inventory and order management functionality of Acumatica ERP.

Training Description: The Automated Warehouse Operations webinar introduces the automated warehouse operations in Acumatica ERP based on a set of examples that illustrate warehouse processes in a midsize company with a warehouse.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:

  • Day 1: Automated Processes. In this session, you will learn how to process single-step transfers of items between warehouse locations, how to count stock items during physical inventory, how to process inventory issues of items from warehouse locations, and how to process inventory receipts of items from warehouse locations by using the functionality of automated warehouse operations. You will also learn how to search for information about stock items by scanning an item barcode and for the list of items stored in a particular location by scanning a location barcode with a barcode scanner or a mobile device with a scanning option. Moreover, you will learn about configuring and performing automated picking and packing.
  • Day 2: Automated Picking and Packing Operations. In this session, you will learn about configuring and performing automated packing, about configuring and performing automated receiving and putting away, and about using wave picking workflow for fulfilling the orders.
  • Day 3: Automated Fulfilling Orders with Batch and Paperless Picking. In this session, you will learn about using batch picking workflow for fulfilling the orders. You will learn how to create pick lists, change the priority of pick lists, assign pick lists to pickers, pick and pack items without printing a pick list, and confirm the shipment after packing the items.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Instructor: David Gutman

Dave Gutman is an ERP software expert with an extensive system architecture, implementation, and pre-sales background. His domain expertise covers the wide range of distribution requirements including Warehouse Management Systems, Supply Chain Planning & Replenishment, and all aspects of the of the Order-To-Cash and Procure-To-Pay cycles.

In his current role Dave Gutman gathers and manages customer and partner requirements for the Acumatica Distribution Edition.

Prior to joining Acumatica, Dave gained software expertise in SAP Business One, BatchMaster Software, and Apprise Software along with a wide range of supporting applications in the WMS and manufacturing arenas.

 

Prerequisites­

You should complete the D100 Inventory and Order Management Basics to become familiar with the basic sales and purchase processes that can be performed in the system.

Advance Preparations

None.  Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
