Training Description: This webinar introduces you to the Acumatica ERP CRM functionality based on a set of examples that illustrate CRM sales processes in a midsize company.
Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:
- Day 1: Qualifying Sales Leads. In this session, you will learn how to use the lead statuses in Acumatica ERP in your lead qualification workflow, return a lead to marketing for further nurturing, disqualify a lead, reopen a disqualified lead, and convert a lead to an opportunity. You will become familiar with ways of creating business accounts, create a business account manually, specify a primary contact for the business account, and process a business account as it has different statuses. Also, you will become familiar with ways of creating contacts, create a contact manually, and create a contact by using the Acumatica ERP mobile app.
- Day 2: Managing Opportunities. In the second session, you will learn how to you create opportunities in multiple ways. You will become familiar how the system determines the default owner it assigns to new opportunities of the class, learn how to assign an opportunity manually to a particular owner, learn how to assign a selected group of opportunities to owners or workgroups by using an opportunity assignment map, and learn how to create an activity of the Event type.
- Day 3: Managing Opportunities. In the last session, you will learn how to manage opportunities and create sales quotes, sales orders, and invoices based on opportunities. You will also learn about relations between different types of CRM records, such as leads, contacts, and business accounts. These entities can be related to one another as well as to other records, such as sales orders. You will also learn how to manage these relations.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Varughese Thomas has over 30 years of experience in the ERP software industry. His areas of expertise include providing support, training, consulting, and implementation services for ERP packaged software. Varughese’s primary areas of subject matter expertise are Distribution, Manufacturing, and the related Finance integrations
At Acumatica, Varughese provides ERP implementation services and holds certifications of Business Consultant, Inventory and Order Management, CRM, and Manufacturing. He performs full implementations, specific module consulting, partner training, Fast Track and best practice implementations.
Prior to joining Acumatica, Varughese was instrumental in several ERP implementations using leading ERP packaged solutions at various manufacturing industry verticals. He started in the Acumatica ecosystem as an implementation consultant with an Acumatica partner. Varughese has implemented and supported QAD MFG/PRO, Infor Baan ERP, SAP SD and QAD EE solutions in addition to Acumatica.

None. Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.
