Audience: This webinar is intended for consultants of order management basics process of Acumatica ERP.

Acumatica ERP Experience Required: 3-6 months

Who Should Attend (relationship to Acumatica):

  • Partners who implement Acumatica ERP inventory and order management processes for customers.
  • Professionals who want to learn Acumatica ERP.

Acumatica ERP version: 2024 R1

Training Description: This webinar will introduce you to the creation, sales, purchases, and drop shipment of non-stock items and service items in Acumatica ERP.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over two days as follows:

  • Day 1: Managing Non-Stock and Service Items: Sales and Inventory Processes. In this session, you will become familiar with the settings of a non-stock item that represents a physical entity and that represents a service, understand the non-stock item settings that affect the processing of orders that include the item, and create a non-stock and service item. You will also learn how to prepare a sales order for a sale of non-stock items with shipping, prepare the shipment for the sales order, prepare the invoice that corresponds to the sales order, and create a sales order for a sale of services.
  • Day 2: Managing Purchases: Non-Stock Items, Services, and Drop Shipments. In the second session, you will learn how to enter a purchase order for a purchase of non-stock items including services, prepare a purchase receipt for the purchase order, and prepare an AP bill that corresponds to the purchase order. You will also learn how to enter a purchase order that includes a service that does not need to be included in the corresponding purchase receipt, prepare an AP bill for the purchase order, process a sales order for non-stock items to be drop-shipped, mark items for drop shipment in a sales order, and create a drop-ship purchase order for the sales order and process the drop shipment to completion.

Date and time: This training meets the following two times, and attendees are expected to attend both sessions:

  • Tue, June 4, 2024 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM PT
  • Wed, June 5, 2024 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM PT

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the D220 Inventory and Order Management: Non-Stock and Service Items course. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

Instructor: John Michels

John has held senior level operations, engineering, and sales/marketing positions in both public and private entities in aerospace, construction, consumer packaged goods and industrial products industries.  Prior to joining Acumatica, John was Vice President of Operations for a multi-national, aircraft part manufacturer, Vice President of Operations for a national restaurant supply & commercial kitchen construction company, an ERP implementation consultant & project manager and the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a NY Metro based industrial products distributor.
