In this session, you will learn how to print and send substantiated billing reports, American Institute of Architects (AIA) reports, work-in-progress and bonding reports, and understand what information is included in them. You will also review the project lifecycle and performance with the help of Acumatica ERP Construction Edition reports. Moreover, you will learn how to configure a change order class that supports the two-tier change management, configure default markups, create a change request to update the project budget, create a change order based on the change request, process a change request with a cost and revenue change order, cancel and close a change request. This session will also cover the following topics: how to configure a cost projection class, create a cost projection for a project, create a new revision of a cost projection, estimate the costs of a project at a different level of detail, and review the projected costs in a project budget.
  • Day 2: Project Documentation and Issue Management: Compliance, Change Requests, and Requests for Information. In the second session, you will learn how to configure categories and statuses for compliance documents, enter compliance documents for a vendor, and track expired compliance documents. You will also learn how to configure project management classes that may be used to ease the creation of project issues, define project issue types, report project issues, convert project issues to change requests and to requests for information, and mass-assign project issues to owners. Additionally, you will create and process a new request for information, create a new request for information that relates to another request for information and a change request from a request for information.
  • Day 3: Field Documentation Management and Processing: Logs, Reports, and Submittals. In this session, you will learn how to configure drawing logs and set up disciplines and statuses, create drawing logs, upload and download images linked to drawing logs, link requests for information and project issues to existing drawing logs, email drawings and requests for information, and create revisions of drawing logs. You will also learn how to create a photo log and upload photos to it, update a photo that has been uploaded to a photo log, download a ZIP archive with all the photos and files of a photo log, and send an email with all the photos and files of a photo log. Moreover, you will learn how to email the daily field report, create and assign an approval map for daily field reports, create a daily field report, add to the daily field report the such entities as: progress worksheets, labor time and activities, change orders, change requests, subcontractor activities, project issues, weather conditions, and site visitors. The last but not least here are the following skills: configuring submittal types, creating a submittal in the system, defining the people that will take part in processing a submittal and their submittal roles, processing submittal-related activities, creating a new revision of a submittal, and closing the completed submittal.

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the V310 Construction Project Management 2024 R1 course, which is part of the Construction Business Consultant badge. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.
