Acumatica ERP version: 2023 R1

Training Description: This webinar introduces the functionality of the Acumatica ERP workflows and explains how to use the customization tools.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over three days as follows:

  • Day 1: Getting Started with Workflows and Creating a Workflow. In this session, you will learn about workflows and how to use them, how to use the Workflow (Tree View) page, and how to create a workflow from scratch. In this course, you will learn how to modify field settings and create dialog boxes, hide unnecessary actions on the form, add new actions to the workflow, modify the added actions, add additional categories to the More menu, and organize actions into categories.
  • Day 2: Creating a Workflow and Working with Inherited Workflows. In this session, you will learn how to create conditions that can be used to modify actions, as well as add transitions between workflow states, test your customization project, and work with inherited workflows, which are based on predefined workflows corresponding to the appropriate forms.
  • Day 3: Customizing a Workflow with a Workflow-Identifying Field and Upgrading Workflows. In this session, you will learn how to create a workflow based on a particular value in a field, as well as how to upgrade a workflow.

Date and time: This training meets the following three times, and attendees are expected to attend all three sessions:

  • Tue, September 19, 2023 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM PT
  • Wed, September 20, 2023 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM PT

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the W150 Workflows course. Completion of this webinar does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.

Prerequisites­

For this webinar, attendees are expected to complete the W140 Customization Projects course and be familiar with creating and publishing customization projects also have common knowledge of Acumatica ERP and be familiar with its user interface.

Advance Preparations

None. Attendees will be provided with a cloud instance and tenant for training purposes.

* We offer CPE credits for this course if you attend the course in the format of online instructor-led RingCentral session.
