Acumatica ERP version: 2023 R1

Training Description: This webinar demonstrates the configuration and business process flow in Acumatica ERP.

Training Syllabus: The program is covered over two days as follows:

  • Day 1: Order Management Basic Configuration. This webinar will walk you through the system features you need for order management and what configuration you need for purchase orders and sales orders. Learn how to customize the system to meet your business requirements using the predefined order types and process the orders. Then you'll learn how to activate an order type, specify optional settings, create a new customer using the default customer class, review the default settings the system has inserted from the customer class, create a vendor profile in Acumatica ERP, create units of measure that can be used system-wide, create conversion rules for system-wide units of measure, and make non-stock items.
  • Day 2: Part 2: Basic Sales and Purchases. We will cover how to create a sales order for the sale of a service, how to prepare the invoice that corresponds to the sale, how to enter a purchase order for a service not included in the applicable purchase receipt, and how to prepare a purchase order correspondingly to an AP bill. In addition, you will learn the steps involved in entering a purchase order for non-stock items, creating a purchase receipt for non-stock items that do not require Inventory, and preparing an AP bill that corresponds to the purchase order. To create a sales invoice for a direct sale, add a sales line to the invoice, process the direct sale to completion. And create a sales order, and make a payment or prepayment. The procedure involves creating an invoice for a sales order, processing the invoice in the settings of an original item, specifying items related to the original item, adding cross-sell items to a sales order, and finally replacing original items in a sales order with up-sell items.

Date and time: This training meets the following two times, and attendees are expected to attend both sessions:

*To provide a cloud instance for attendees, we need to generate a registration report and perform some activities to deploy the instance and send out the credentials. All this takes time and we have to do it several hours before the webinar. So we highly recommend not leaving the registration up to the last minute of the webinar start. Everyone who registers after 6 AM PT of Day 1 session will not receive the link to the cloud instance and credentials for it and will have to attend a webinar in a view-only format.

Partner Certification: This webinar is based on the materials of the D300 Order Management Basics 2023 R1 course, which is part of the Business Consultant badge. Completion of this class does not give you an automatic completion of the related course at Partner University; you will still need to complete the exam at Partner University.
