Scanning a barcode that references the tracking number of a package on a shipment

Our client uses UPS (in the UK) without integration.  They have a tracking label with a reference number which is also supplied as a bar code.  As this number is rather long and difficult for the warehouse personnel to enter on the mobile app is there a way to open this field on the app and to have it scan and read the bar code and store it as the shipment tracking number?

You would need a customization to accomplish this. The tracking number field is only used if you are integrated with a carrier or carriers in the system.
