Require Sales Order for Non-Stock

It appears that a non-stock item can be added to a purchase order, received and paid for without ever being added to a sales order and invoiced to the customer. Is there a way to ensure that that the customer gets invoiced (e.g. requiring a sales order before creating a PO)?

Inventory with Handheld Scanner

Is there a way to do a spot inventory count without creating any Physical Count sheet.Walk up to the bin location and scan the the location, then the bar code and then enter the quantity.

How to restrict matrux item form to relevant crossings only (SO301000)

Our client sells clothes that are tracked based on colors and sizes.He has created all possible sizes and colors as attributes. It would probably have been better to create different tables for different sizes for instance (it gathers sizes of clothsand shoes). For instance size :This leads to very large sets of possible crossings, while he will need only few of them : In the IN203000 screen, Matrix Items sreen, only the check one is created. That is perfect! :However, when in matrix view entry mode in SO301000, all possible crossings are made available.Ils it possible to display only the possible crossings instead of all (all the more as only those can be filled)

Company Creation with out Intercompany transactions feature enable

Hi, We are going to configure one company newly and there are few clarification under intercompany transaction and company configuration with require balancing. Here customer was not purchased Intercompany feature. will manage by manual entry.  Following we have mentioned this in detail.  Tenant -01Company 01 --- There are two Branches Company 02 --- There is one Branch Tenant -02Company 03 --- There are two BranchesThis customer not purchase Intercompany transaction feature. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Question When we create company under Company -01 , there are three selection options. --Without Branches--With Branches not requiring balancing --With Branches requiring balancing If customer not enable Intercompany transactions, which selection option should we keep in Company creation form according to Company-01 scenario?As per our understanding it should "With Branches not requiring balancing".RegardsNethupul

When we create a sales order,  is there any option to load the Salesperson based on Login User Employee instead of loading based on customer .( User is linked with Employee and employee is linked with Salesperson) .Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance.

Dynamic From Email Address from business events to notification template

We have a need to dynamically set the from address on a notification template that is triggered/sent out from a business event. The general idea is that we want the from address to be one of our sales associates based on the record that is being sent from the business event GI to the notification template. the data is readily available, however, the selector for “from” only shows the system email accounts that have been setup, and doesn’t allow me to set the from address dynamically.In this scenario, actually each of the associates do in fact have a corresponding system email accounts setup.Does anyone know if this is technically possible without creating separate business events for each of our sales associates/from addresses?

Looking for a suggestion on setting an item's purchasing qty batch size

We have a few items that the Vendor is requesting that we order in multiples of 10. We thought of doing a Pop-Up Note for the item so it would appear when placing on a PO, but then it appears on the Sales Order screen also.  This is confusing to the order entry users. Any other suggestion on how to accomplish ordering the correct amount on the PO?

Mass enable subitems?

Subitems appear to be inactive by default. Is there a way to mass enable inventory subitems all at once? I get this error when trying to use the inactive subitems in a Sales Order:“the default value of the subitem segment is inactive”

Field Above or Below Child Grid

I have a custom screen that has a parent/child standard editing form similar to sales orders in how it looks.Under the child grid or above it, I'd like to put a control that is bound to the same table/field as the child grid.It works to show the initial record's value from the child grid, but as I select different rows in the child grid it doesn't refresh with the proper values.  It always shows/edits the first value from the grid. Is there any way to get the control to show the right value from the grid and work like this?I realize I can put in the edit mode for the grid, but for ease of use this one field (multi-line HTML Editor) really needs to just allow the user to click on the row and edit the value easily. Edit:  Sorry this somehow posted to distribution.  Should have been in Customizations but I can’t figure out how to move it!

[Bug or Normal] Return apply a negative discount

 Invoice without discountStarted a return and the discount automatically apply to the document  Hi everyone,I met a very weird problem. The case is I created a SO for a customer(There is no discount applied at this moment) and invoiced. Later I apply a negative discount for the surcharge for this customer.  Than I started a return for this SO. The negative discount was applied to the document automatically. If I didn’t check the amount, I will refund more money to the customer.  I don’t know if this is normal or a bug? With my understanding, the return should be base on the amount on the invoice. It can not apply any discounts.  Does anyone know this ? or how to set do not apply discount for the return.

Customer is not showing in Sales Order form when select the Currency

Shipping to Puerto Rico

We are using the integrated shipping connector within Acumatica. We are having inconsistent challenges when attempting to ship to Puerto Rico. I noticed Acumatica has a setting where the country can be PR (which does not make sense). I am curious how others are able to ship via UPS and what information we need to input. The error we get is either - no international information is entered, or incorrect zip code.
