Allocated quantities on transactions

Hello, On Hand, Available, Available for Shipping, and Allocated quantities are visible at the bottom of an inventory transaction screen. The Allocated quantities seem to always show 0.00, even if items are listed on the “Inventory Allocated Details” inquiry. Does anyone know what field the Allocated quantities is pulling at the bottom of the screen? We need to add it to another screen and also understand why it is 0.00. Thanks so much!

Items without replenishment on order do not show up on Purchase Orders. Help.

We have a purchase order work flow issue. When a sales representative puts an item not in stock on a sales order, (and the items does not have a replenishment set), the item is set to back order. Our buyers do not know to order that item when the buyers are placing purchase orders. And the backordered item does not get ordered. Can Acumatica automatically put these backordered items an a Purchase Order? If not, how can Acumatica show us we need to put these backordered items on a Purchase Order?

Is there any way to view Cost Layers for a given inventory item? We are looking into switching to FIFO from AVG and we need a way to be able to view all cost layers for an inventory item.

Purchase orders getting issued with tax - despite vendor being Tax Exempt

We have an intercompany vendor that we purchase goods from without any tax impact. The vendor is tax exempt, but when we issue a PO, it is generated with tax. When we generate interco sales order, it is generated without tax. Any idea why the PO would be getting created with tax? The item on the PO is a taxable item as it is taxable to the end customer.

Cannot add a warehouse to a stock item

Suddenly we cannot add a warehouse to a stock item.No errors, just no ability to save as is it grayed out.I thought is was possibly related to a customization. However, I have tested against multiple unrelated instances with the same results.Has there been a windows update or something causing problems?

Unable to upload attachment on Purchase Receipts mobile screen

I’m having a strange bug/problem with attachments on the Purchase Receipts screen.If I create a purchase receipt from a purchase order and then try to upload an attachment, it succeds: However when I try to upload an attachment by navigating directly to a Purchase Receipt, I get the following error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”. Here you can see that it is the same record, but in this case I have navigated to the Purchase Receipt directly. Out of the box, the purchase receipts screen does not allow uploading of attachments. Sales Order Allocations

The user has created a sales order and allocated a certain quantity. Now, they have created another transfer order (similar to the functionality for shipment creation like the sales order) and require a quantity allocation. However, since there is no quantity available, they need to check the transaction summary and find the allocated sales order to deallocate it and process the transfer order.During this process, the user would like an automated option where they expect the system to automatically deallocate the quantity and allow the user to allocate it for the required sales order when there is no quantity available.If the warehouse contains sufficient quantity, there are no issues. Changing the lot class of preexisting item numbers

We currently are assigning lot numbers at the kit creation level, but would like to switch to assigning lot numbers at invoicing instead. Can we simply change the lot class of each item in our system to have the lot be assigned when used instead of when received?

Creating "Trade backs" or "swap outs" on a Sales Order

My company is newer to Acumatica (since April 2020) and our old software (Everest) used to be able to handle transactions in this way very easily, here is a hypothetical scenario:We are a car dealer and a customer is making a purchase of a new vehicle. The vehicle is in my inventory as a whole unit. The customer wants to upgrade the wheels on the vehicle, so we need to swap them out. We take 4 wheels out of our stock and install them on the vehicle then restock into inventory the 4 wheels that originally came on the vehicle. Then we sell the car. We can later sell the 4 original wheels to another customer.In Everest you can simply use a negative quantity (-4 wheels) on the sales order which in this case would bring 4 of the original wheels back into our inventory stock. Then put positive 4 of the new style wheels on the same sales order, effectively "swapping out" or "trading back" the wheels.This type of transaction happens ALL THE TIME, multiple times daily here at my company and I h

Device Hub working Print Preview still Showing

I am trying to print pick list without seeing the preview screen. The warehouse will be printing multiple pick tickets at a time and do not need or want to see the preview.I have the pick ticket printer setup with Device Hub. I have set it as the default printer. When I use Process Shipments to print the pick list the print goes directly to the printer but it also shows the print preview screen. Change Standard Cost to FIFO

I reduced the Quantities On Hand for all Stock Items to -0-.To effect a change in Valuation Method, can this be accomplished by changing the associated Item Class records? As I adjust the quantities and costs back in, will the Item Class record make the change to each Item record?Or do I need to make the change to each Inventory item record to make the valuation change take effect?

PPV Posting to Project

I have PO with a non-stock/expense item costs $850, linked to project. Process PO Receipt without changing unit cost, then create Bill at $1,000. The project however is only costed at $850 even though the Bill journal shows additional expense of $150 as a result of purchase price variance. The PPV allocation mode is Inventory Account. Is there anyway to post the additional expense to Project?

How to create Multiple UPS Collect Ship via with customer UPS account integrate to Acumatica Easypost

Anyone know how Easypost would work if I’m only shipping Collect using my customer’s account information. We have a client that has 250 clients and 90% of the orders shipped use UPS Collect and utilize their CUSTOMER’S UPS account number. Can I setup them in Easypost easily? We haven’t done that before. Anyone has any best insights that would be awesome.

On sales order, selecting certain items the Mark for PO check defaults to Checked (TRUE0

Good day,When a user enters a sales order and selects some stock items, the Marked of PO check is defaulted to check. The scenario did not occur for all items; not verified. I tested a few; see below. It this setting? Or something I can turn off. I causes order processing confusion and errors; also you can create a shipment without unchecking the box. (We do Dropships and Direct Import orders that do require a purchase order to be generated.Thank you for your assistance.@EvanG

How can i process returns for serialized items that were sold prior to going live with Acumatica?

We use serial numbers for many of our products. Our inventory in Acumatica is accurate as of date we went live. The problem is we sometimes need to process a return for sales completed in our old systems and Acumatica does not know about the serial numbers for those sales so we are unable to process the return in Acumatica as its asking for the serial number but when we enter them, the system does not accept it. So we are stuck and don't know how to process and create credit memos and generate serials for such returns. Anyone knows best practice for handling this?
