We use the drag and drop file attachemnts to add the customer PO to the SO.

In some instances it shows a file in the SO but the file box is empty.

What could cause this?

I realize this is old and the link was not working for me but did you find an answer to this issue? We have an issue with this on occasion. We are on 2020R2 and will be upgrading to 2021 R1 here in a couple weeks.

This was the resolution,

Issue description

 

Files attached to a sales order could be lost if a shipment associated with the sales order was deleted.

 

Root cause

 

This is a known issue valid for the Acumatica ERP 2021 R1 version only, Update 7 (21.107.0023), and earlier updates.

 

Solution

 

Update to Acumatica ERP 2021 R1 Update 8 (21.108.0032) or later.

This looks to be a different problem for sure. Seem as though it happens at an SO level when changing states. So from hold to open or credit hold to open.
