Does anyone know how or if it is even possible to set the Comments when uploading a file via the API?

Currently it is not possible
I created the following product idea about it

    When you refer to Comments, are you talking about the note field?

    If so, that field is hard coded and called “note”.

    @Django I hope @stevejames is referring to the Comments section in file upload popup (attachments).

    I am too looking for the same option with RestAPI.

    @Django, yes the comments section in the file upload popup. I can do it with a custom table and a sql query but would like to be able to set it when i use the API to Upload files.
