We have a requirement to implement PTO functionality in Acumatica. The Payroll module is not enabled in the system, and there is no plan to use it. Therefore, as I am aware, we cannot use the in-built PTO functionality of Acumatica. We are looking for a way (in-built or ISV integration) that could handle this requirement.
The detail of the requirement is as follows:
- Employees accrue 1 day (8 hours) of PTO for every month of work performed (40 hours). This needs to be accrued throughout the year. Total of 96 hours can be accrued within a year.
- Partial carryover of PTO (40 hours) at the end of year is allowed.
- Employees should be able to request PTO leave for a particular date/dates. Ideally, there would be a calendar where they can view the requested and approved leaves.
- Approved leaves should be routed to the employee's manager for approval/rejection.
- Employee should be able to view their leave balance.
- Managers should be able to view Employees' leave balance summary.
Appreciate any suggestions to implement this in Acumatica (either through in-built functionality or ISV integration). If you have any experience implementing this functionality, would like to hear about it.
