How to disable "OPEN" button after closing the Case

Dear ALL,

Please help us how to disable "OPEN" button after closing the Case.

Acumatica Version: 2020 R1

Hi @nhatnghetinh  We can do this from the Customization project - Workflow steps.

Here are the simple steps to achieve this.

  1. Create a new condition to know if the CASE is Released or not
  2. Add this condition in the OPEN Action, so that based on this condition OPEN button will be disabled after RELEASE the case.
  3. Publish the package.

Can we do Workflow steps on Automation Definitions for this case without having to do it on Customization project ?

Should be able to just view the State Diagram and that will show you all the ways you can go from closed back to open. Then just customize the workflow to disable those. I recently had to disable cases from reopening due to a email activity coming in after a case was already closed.
