Hello all,

I have been working on Rate tables for Project module and have defined some rates for lets say Project A & Project B for Employee 1 & 2.

The rates setup are as :

  1. Start Date: 01/01/2024; End Date: 12/31/2024; Rate: 10$; Project ID: Project A & B; Employee ID: 1
  2. Start Date 01/01/2024; End Date: 12/31/2024; Rate: 20$; Project ID: Project B; Employee ID: 2

Now I am looking to import new rates for the year 2025. So the scenario would be:

  1. Start Date: 01/01/2025; End Date: 12/31/2025; Rate 15$; Project ID: A ; Employee ID: 1
  2. Start Date: 01/01/2025; End Date: 12/31/2025;; Rate: 25$; Project ID: B; Employee ID: 1.

Eventually when I am trying to create a new rate code for the 2025 scenario, Acumatica displays an error stating the Rate Code, Project ID & Employee ID has already been used. Now if I go ahead to delete the 2024 Rate Code and try to create for 2025, it doesnt trigger any error. How can I insert both 2024 & 2025 rates with different rate codes?

Hey @Harry ,
Can you try creating a new sequence under Rate Lookup Rules screen. It will work.
