Is there a way to remove the submittal form from automatically attaching to submittal activity emails?

Is anyone else using Submittals under Project Management? One thing we have noticed is that if we send an email activity from the submittal record, it automatically attaches the submittal form. However, the activity record doesn’t show there is any attachment until after the email has been sent. Is there a way to remove the submittal form from automatically attaching?

We have had a case open on this for several weeks and are now being told that this is standard system functionality for the submittal form to auto-attach to all emails created in the submittal module. We were advised to submit a recommendation through the community if we want to change the logic. We don’t necessarily need to change the logic; we just want to be able to know prior to an email being sent that a file is automatically attaching to it and have the ability to remove it if needed.

Is there anyone else that uses the submittal module that wouldn’t want the submittal form to auto-attach?
