Estimating add-on for Construction Edition

We have a large landscaping client who is migrating from General Edition to Construction Edition. Implementation has been paused, however, because the client is disappointed in the lack of functionality of estimating. We are now vetting ISVs. ProEst is a possibility. RedTeam is only serving commercial contractors. Does anyone have any other suggestions for an ISV? One function our client needs is the ability to drop estimates into projects (not sales orders).

Hi @meganparsley98 , you should review Stack Estimating.  They are working on marketplace certification, but already have Acumatica users;

@meganparsley98, ProEst is a good option. They “drop” estimates into projects. Stack is another estimating ISV that integrates with projects. We are starting to see customers looking at and purchasing Stack Estimating as an add-on to the construction edition.  We met with them at Summit and follow-ups since Summit regarding the integration to Acumatica. They are going to be rolling out a second iteration of the integration in the very near future. @meganparsley98. One of our clients dropped ProEst before implementation was completed. They were not able to adequately demonstrate the product working with Acumatica. The implementation person did not know Acumatica functionality. I hope ProEst works out for others. The product videos appear to be easy implementation and use.

@meganparsley98 proest was a possible solution for one of my clients however, they couldn’t push the inventory item over from proest to acumatica which was a requirement for our client.  we ended up just using project quotes to estimate.  I am not sure how other ISVs do it but if inventory item is required on the budgets, then I would make sure to ask if that came copy over up front!
