Hi all.How do we change the default status of an AP Bill that was created from an Expense Claim? When we release an expense claim, the AP bill is automatically balanced. We want the AP Bill of an Expense Claim to be put on hold first for some reason. Thank you in advance.
First off, I’m new to Accumatica and this might be a stupid question, but I can’t find a definitive answer in the documentation, and our integration partner isn’t being super responsive. We have a new implementation of Accumatica with a single tenant and we use Google for mail. We are looking at implementing Google SSO for authentication to Accumatica, as well as implementing 2FA through Google. Email within Accumatica is presently not set up to allow users to send from themselves, but we would like to implement this. I’ve read that in order to turn on mail personalization when 2FA is enabled, you have to use an App Password, but we’d prefer not to. In looking for alternatives to using App Passwords, it occurred to me that that the key generated by Google when SSO is first set up could maybe take the place of the App Password? Did that make any sense at all?
Docusign will not connect. Im in a test sandbox and I have Use Test API box checked off & API URL https://demo.docusign.net/restapi and I save and try to connect and get an error. I do have a docusign account and Ive provided the login info within the email & password fields. What am I missing?
Hello! I am currently working on the system admin course S100, and ran into an issue and would like to ask for your help. In the step shown on the attached pdf on page 61, I made a mistake and chose the latest version of 21.119.0030, instead of 21.101.0047. See also attached screenshots. Will this create any problems down the road? If so, can I downgrade before proceeding? I plan to go on to the Developer Track. Can you advise?
Hello, we have configured SSO with openID and Microsoft Azure app subscription. Everything works well except that when a user presses "LOGOUT" in acumatica, and another presses the "OpenID SSO Microsoft" button at login, this one automatically reconnects to the same user who was initially connected . It seems to keep it cached. How to "clear cache" or other solution to user logout?THANKS
Hello, Is there any way (routines or webservice, etc.) in order to import and/or export snapshots using code (c# for example) ?I find that there is some routines provided in order to manipulate customization packages via code and i m looking if there is some other routines for snapshots ?Manipulating snapshots via code could be very useful in mutliple cases :Scheduling export snapshots for translation purposes (Localization.xml files) Making intergration tests with snapshots up to date Etc. Hi, I am trying to update the numbering sequence for the Projects screen, but I am running into the error shown below. Here is what Segment 1 looks like. Is there anything that jumps out at you to justify why the above error was complaining about the format? Also, if I was to make a change to any of the attributes in the segment grid, I get the error that is shown below. Does this mean that I can’t make changes to this without making changes to the children first? Let me know if you need any other information. Kind regards,Andrew

Hello - We are currently operating on the Office 365 w/ Azure using the Modern Authentication 0Auth2.0. We had followed the attached instructions and set up the azure portal, and the external application. Everything had been working fine without issue since we set it up. Yesterday, the secret key credentials expired, and we created a new one in our Azure portal, however, since doing that, we are not able to get the system to connect. When testing the “Sign In” feature, we continue to get an error stating that the Tenant ID is not found, even after following all of the steps in the instructions. Any ideas what may be causing this?Thanks!
How do I give a user access to ONLY the Cross-Reference segment of the Stock Item screen?I can give them rights to images and packaging just fine. Those live under:Inventory → Stock Items → InventoryItemI have DELETE rights to Inventory → Stock Items → Cross-ReferenceBut I still can’t access that grid. I’m obviously missing something here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
An employee recently departed from our company. I need to know what unexpected / unintended consequences of disabling the departed employee as an Acumatica user. If the departed employee were to return can we “re-enable” him and he would have all of his histories, notes, set up? Can other employees access all of the departed employees work, notes, histories? Are we better off leaving the departed employee active and just change his Acumatica password?
Most Windows servers are 64-bit these days. 64-bit OS’s are able to utilize more memory and tend to be more stable than 32-bit. It seems that Acumatica only has a 32-bit version of DeviceHub, as far as I can tell. is this correct, and if so, are there any plans for a 64-bit version?

Hi,I am facing an error in numbering sequence.Scenario :- I have created a snapshot from tenant screen in acumatica ( settings only snapshot). But when I restored this snapshot the numbering sequence gets reset to starting and the numbering sequence which was there in the instance while creating snapshot is been reset.Eg:- suppose I am using Bill of Material and my numbering sequence as :- Starting Number - BOM000001 to End Number - BOM999999and Last Number - BOM000037So, When I create a snapshot from settings only and when I restored this on new tenant or instance it reset my last number to BOM000000 and when I create Bill of material it creates duplicate.I have created CD field as my primary key in DAC and Database table. Then also getting same issue. Is there any way in acumatica to resolve this and also is there any function in acumatica as OnImport and if then how can we use and where we can use it.??Please suggest a solution for this.??Regards,Dhruv

hi! i have Client A who’s going through implementation and the first financial year starts on 1/1/2018 (monday) and Client B who’s financial year starts on 1/1/2021 (Friday). i was referring to the info related to custom week config which led me to believe that it’s related to the financial year but that’s not consistent with what i’m seeing between the two clients:on the time and expense preference screen, Client A’s week setting has a start date of Monday and Client B has a start day of Sunday. does anyone know what settings i need to change for the start day to change to Sunday for Client A without using the custom week configuration? i thought this was related to the work calendar however, Client A has work calendars that have Sunday as a working day and Client B does not have sunday as a working day. also, i want to add that Client A has Acumatica Payroll and Client B does not
We’ve recently ran into an issue with trying to exclude non-stock items from our export on Sales Orders (SO301000). These non-stock items are populated in the Details tab of the Sales Order page. We’ve tried several different approaches to this and still have turned up no results. Right now, we are using this export restriction and this export mapping All we need it to do is not include any Inventory lines that are not non-stock for this export. The value is ultimately stored as ‘N’ when I try to map the export to a location and see what it looks like. However, when using the restrictions, it does not want to exclude these lines with that value.The restrictions we have tried so far have been Details > [InventoryItem.ItemType] > Does Not Include/Does Not Equal > NDetails > Inventory-Type > Does Not Include/Does Not Equal > N/’N’Details > Inventory-Type > Does Not Include/Does Not Equal > Non-Stock ItemAny help would be appreciated.
Hi Everyone, I am adding a new employee in acumatica. After I saved the document, the system generate a new ref nbr.but, when I go back in the Employees Generic Inquiry. I didn't see any details for Employee E00424. Is there any set up I need to reflect the employee set up? Thank you !!!
Dear ALL,I have created an Email Account in “System Email Accounts” screen just to implement the Automation Notifications email feature for the newly created Case. We would like to disable sending Email feature from Sales Order screen and all other screens. Please show me how How can we do this without using the “User Security/Access Rights” features.
