Hi everyone, I’m Joel Hoffman, Director of Product Management for Construction at Acumatica. I have been with Acumatica almost 6 years.
Since graduating high school and thinking that “these computers may go somewhere”, I have been part of the technical community. I have spent most of my career in the Construction technology sector and witnessing how things evolved is incredible. I commend the companies that have been leaders in technical adoption and the ways construction has been improved, especially with constant change and challenges faced.
I’m from the Philadelphia, PA area and enjoy the change of seasons we experience each year, from Winter to Spring, Summer and Fall. As an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, where I have been a season ticket holder for more than 35 years, fall brings a new football (American) year full of promise and expectations.
My 31-year-old daughter and 28-year-old son are married and enjoying their lives. We’re still waiting for those grandkids, but I have a 6-year-old lab-mix dog to keep my wife, and I busy!
I am an avid golfer, enjoying our annual trips to the Southern Pines area of North Carolina, and showing the young ones that it’s not about how far the ball goes, it’s all about your short game!!
