In 2022 R2 Acumatica introduced experimental features to make it easier for customers to test new capabilities and provide feedback. Experimental features are included in the standard product download and can be easily enabled on the enable/disable features screen or by turning on a feature switch. Unlike core functionality, we may change the way these features are designed and implemented based on customer feedback.
Controlled release features are newer capabilities that will continue to be part of the Acumatica ERP solution. Acumatica may limit the availability of these features so customers receive the support and implementation excellence expected as part of the Acumatica experience.
Feature | Information |
---|---|
Microsoft Teams Integration | Teams Integration will be introduced as an experimental feature in 2023 R1 so you can see a contact’s online presence, initiate Teams calls, chats, and share information between Acumatica ERP and Microsoft Teams. These actions are available in Cases, Leads, Opportunities, Business Accounts, Contacts, Customers, and Vendors. Information about Microsoft Teams Integration is available in the 2023 R1 release notes and the Microsoft Teams community page. |
Intelligent Advisor | Intelligent Advisor monitors journal transactions and proactively identifies items that may have been entered incorrectly. Acumatica assigns a confidence score so customers can focus on items with the highest probably of being an anomaly. Based on your initial feedback the usability and functionality of GL Anomaly Detection is likely to be improved in the future. Improvements are likely cause you to have to reimplement this feature. A short video is included at 12:50 of the 2022 R2 feature review. Documentation is available in this Acumatica Help article on GL Anomaly Detection. |
SendGrid Templates | SendGrid email integration allows customers to send email and get reports about the delivery status of email. In 2022 R2 we added the ability to import email templates you built using SendGrid. This feature is experimental because it may not meet the rigorous ease-of-use standards that are required by all Acumatica features. As a result the feature may require changes. Documentation is available in this Acumatica Help article. |
Stripe Integration | Stripe integration allows you to collect credit card payments using Stripe. This feature is being offered to UK customers and as a controlled release feature to US and Canada customers. This feature has limited documentation and requires Acumatica implementation assistance. Both the documentation and assistance can be obtained by creating a presales support case. |
Special Orders | Special Orders is a controlled release feature that allows you to tightly link purchase order costs with the delivery of goods on sales orders. This is a hidden feature in 2023 R1 which can be enabled by installing a customization project. |
Amazon Integration | The Amazon Integration allows merchants to track Amazon orders and fees in Acumatica. The solution works with FBA and MFN (FBM) processes. More information and instructions on how to get started are available on the Amazon Integration community page. |
Autocomplete Suggestions | Context based suggestions you can quickly accept on multi-line text fields. Coming soon as an experimental feature. Target 2023 R2. |
