My client manufactures stock items with different container sizes. They have stock items listed as shown below:WG36-BulkWG36-264GAWG36-317GAThere are times they need to do a repack from Bulk to 264GA and need to allocate labor and overhead costs. If we use the BOM for the stock items, it includes the component parts needed to produce the item. In this case, we will not need the standard components as we will issue WG36-Bulk as the component. Is there an easier way than deleting all the components and adding this one item with the labor and overhead added? Somone suggested an Inventory Kit Assembly but I really want to tie this to a production order from a sales order. Looking forward to the feedback,Thanks, Jim
Does anyone know if the Project Drop Ship Order type on the Sales Order line item is available in the 2023 R1 release or when it’s scheduled to be added? Thanks,Jim
Can you require a file attachment to certain transaction screens - Bills and Adjustments, Purchase Orders...Client wants to force a file attachment be done. If the user forgets, they want the system to give an error message. Please advise.
I have a Dynamics SL client that is looking at Acumatica. They are a project based client and utilizes a 9/80 work week schedule for their project employees. I can’t find any documentation for this on the Acumatica website. Does anyone know if this is native functionality or an ISV solution I can review? Thanks, Jim Gross
Hello Acumatica Community, my name is Jim Gross and I am the Client Account Manager for the Acumatica division at NexTec Group. I have been in the consulting industry for over 25 years focusing on Dynamics SL, Dynamics GP, Navision and most recently Acumatica. I was a senior project manager on the consulting side until last April when I moved into the CAM role. I still don’t consider myself a salesperson but my years on the consulting side has been a huge plus in working with our existing client base in my sales role.. On the personal side of life, I am married to my best friend Missy and have 2 kids and 4 grandkids. I love to golf, hike, take beach vacations and I also have traveled extensively doing mission work in the US and other countries. Glad to be part of the community and look forward to assisting in any way I can.
I have a new Acumatica client that is in the catering industry. They need a front end solution that will handle the event planning, booking, invitations, venue, menu...Once the event is approved, we will use Acumatica core for the processing. We are also looking at Tayani Solutions for the process manufacturing needed but they don’t have the front end piece that is missing. If anyone has worked in this industry and has some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Jim Gross
One of my clients receives a payroll file with no header records. They can import into Quickbooks by mapping the data field to the column in the excel file. Does Acumatica allow this type of mapping? For example, Column A = Date, Column B = Amount...In the Data Provider or Import Scenario can I specify Column A = Date?
