@meagan59 I just found this other thread that apparently works. I have yet to try it.
Needing to change all customer profiles FOB point to a certain ID. We were able to change the description but need to change or delete the ID. Any suggestions? Thanks! This worked GREAT!! Simple and efficient. Thank you!
Hi, Have the settings in Enable/Disable features been adjusted recently? Please check to see if Multiple Warehouses is turned on. Hmmm - I found another tenant in the same condition as your post - and it has Multiple warehouses turned ON, so it’s not enable/disable. I don’t think it’s access rights because I’m administrator. Still looking… Update: Maybe this isn’t an answer, but more of a work-around. When I clicked Add Warehouse Detail, and in Warehouse Detail I clicked ‘Override Manager’ then I was able to save the new warehouse record to the Stock Item. It seems like I have to make some change besides entering the Item and Warehouse - click any checkbox, or modify any 3rd field, and then Save button is available. I’m testing in 2022 R1, Build 22.105.0031. Hope this helps you. The Item Warehouse Details Work-Around works great! Thanks for sharing!
Hi @CodyK The cost of a Stock Item is updated based on the costing method selected (such as FIFO, Average, etc.) and inventory transactions. If there have been recent transactions affecting the cost of the stock item, but the cost on the Kit Specification has not been updated yet, the costs may differ. Additionally, review the costing method, valuation method, and any manual overrides in the Kit Specification to ensure consistency with the Stock Items. Thank you. Does the cost of the Kit Spec update when a Kit is assembled or when/how?
Hello @CodyK , What is the valuation method on the Component item? What is the valuation method on the Kit item? Can you post screenshots of a the In Balance or IN Valuation report to show us the cost of a component item prior to kit assembly, and show us the resulting cost of the same item when added to the kit? Thank you. Laura The items in question are the same item. Example: PART XYZ is $244.8133 in Inventory Valuation. $177.633 in Kit Specifications and $177.69 on Last Cost on Stock Items. Currently the Valuation Method is AVERAGE
Depending on the Valuation Method, the cost of the item may always be the same (standard cost), may be assigned when received, may be assigned when used from inventory, etc. This is why we ask for your Valuation Method. Laura Average is the Valuation Method
Hi @CodyK were you able to find a solution? Thank you! We did not
