@stacy16 if you shared a screenshot of the Related Tables Tab and the Results Grid tab of the generic inquiry we might be able to add some additional details on how to do it for your GI specifically but the short answer is yes you can is a few different ways.One way would be to look at the SOLine qty fields for open qty, qty on shipments, qty invoiced, and with a formula and calculate the open/shipped/invoiced linesAnother option would be to add just a simple condition looking at SOLine Open qty greater than 0I will point out that some of these fields are dependant on if a shipment is still not yet completed.
@stacy16 you could get a little creative and use a formula iff(equals(openqty > 0), ‘Open’, ‘Complete’) Some variation of the above might make it a more user friendly field result!
@dstjohn84 this can be accomplished in a few different ways. but the business events (screen id: SM302050), formally notifications, will allow you to send any report via an email notification based on a set of conditions.
@PatriciaBatisti absolutely!It’s really driven from the Email Subscriber you create (See Screenshot) but the event itself can be based on a GI looking at a list of invoices, or customers, etc. Just like you describe. You can even add multiple reports
@PatriciaBatisti For some reason my second screenshot didn’t post. This is where on the email notification you specify the report. Lets us know if you have any other questions when you dig in!
@erin Statements can be sent to customers each month (or any cadence) by creating a statement cycle, assigning a customer to that, ensuring their print/email statement settings are correct, ensuring you have an email notification set up and ready, and finally then running prepare statement (can be automated) and Print/Email Statements (can be automated)See screenshot for some of the settings
@erin there is a good article in the help describing the process:https://help-2020r2.acumatica.com/(W(1))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=84f6f67f-5e57-437c-a982-2970fa56ffa9
@erin that is correct!
@erin Prepare statements will only “queue” up the statements to be sent. The Print Statements Screen will then let you print and email the statements that were “queued” to the customers. This screen can be scheduled/automated. Really the entire process can be automated start → finishThe help document linked here does a really good job outlining the linked help article does a good job going through each of the steps and settings. It has a nice checklist as well!https://help-2020r2.acumatica.com/(W(2))/Help?ScreenId=ShowWiki&pageid=84f6f67f-5e57-437c-a982-2970fa56ffa9
@pandachan48 if the filter is a shared filter, you can go to the filters screen and copy, change name and create a new one. I believe “copying” to a new one is the only way to accomplish this Really more of a work around, I’m not sure the name can be edited in the existing filter. The filters screen is CS209010 (search “filter” in the menu)
