SOShipLine.TranDesc - Field not showing accurate value on Pick List (Report Designer)

On certain items we ship out and include on a Pick List, our teams will modify the description on the Shipments screen.We want this modified description to appear on the Pick List. I am bringing in the SOShipLine.TranDesc but it still shows the InventoryItem.Descr instead? In example below, we have modified the description on the Shipment screen (image A). We then Print Pick List, however the description shown remains the original description associated with the inventory item (image B) - not the description per inventory item on the Shipment. I have modified the Pick List in Report Designer so it displays SOShipLine.TranDesc (image C) - but it still doesn’t show the correct description. Image A  Image B Image ​​​​​C

Modifying report date range parameters

All, I have a report where we are reporting on a four year range. So something like this: Date A from: → Date A to:Date B from: → Date B to:Date C from: → Date C to:Date D from: → Date D to: I need to have the 3 previous years/parameters setup like “@Today-1Y” “@Today-2Y” etc.In Report Designer, I’m unsure how to modify the expression to display the previous 3 years in the dropdown menus. Is there a way to use only business days when calculating a field in GI?

In our production process, we have the following dates (simplified view):Production Start Date: Feb. 3 Build Date: Feb. 10 Production End Date: Feb.20 The build date is always 5 business days after production start date. I’m trying to build a GI that will list out these dates but I don’t seem able to create a formula that does AmProdItem.StartDate + 5 Working Days. I can do AmProdItem.StarDate + 5,but it will include weekends. Is there anyway to do this but exclude weekends? Or anyway to incorporate one of the work calendars into this calculation?

Customer Statement default report not sorting properly

Hello,Ever since the new year (2023) has started, the default Customer Statement report (AR641500) is not sorting the results properly. There is an issue where it is not understanding where to put documents with a DocDate of 2023.  Here is a screenshot of the report schema (default), and an example of the bad sorting:

Item Class Attributes

Hi! I have 20 item classes to classify my different types of items, to each item class I have 1-3 attributes which are different factors and values for each class according to the item type, the attributes values are only appropriate to the item class they’re assigned to but not to the others.when creating a GI for all my items and I need to add my attributes to each item, it prompts me to add a separate column for each attribute, which gets me to a total of 20 columns, while each column is only relevant to its unique assigned item class but for all other items it’ll just be empty, the same thing happens when trying to add a parameter on top to be able to filter on the attribute values it prompts me to create a unique filter for each column with his own values.I’m wondering is there is a better way of doing this, for example if I can have one column to show different attributes on each line according to that specific item, so I can minimize my GI with just adding 3 columns for attribut

Approval Widget

Hi guys!I tried to add an approval widget  - both for AP invoices and Expense Claims.  But, no data is showing up in the table (screen shot of emptiness below). lol.  Do any of you know how to get this to work?  I just want something simple to know who has what to approve. Thanks!!Best,Kay Howe@tgillum29

Add Tax ID to Bills & Adjustments Generic Inquiry

Hello everyone,I would like to add the Vendor tax registration ID to the Bills and Adjustments generic inquiry. I’ve attempted to do this by adding PX.Objects.CR.Location to the tables and adding the location object and TaxRegistrationID to the data field in the results grid. When viewing the inquiry, the tax ID is there, however, it creates many lines of the same invoices. Any ideas on how to clean up this report customization? Thank you!@tgillum29 & @khowe86

Automatic Printing of Shipment Confirmation

Is there a way to have the shipment confirmation print automatically after confirm shipment has been clicked? Shipment is confirmed through mobile app and I want shipment confirmation to print as soon as that has been done.

Add Attribute(s) to SOLine

I am attempting to add InventoryItem attribute(s) to SOLineThe report I am editing is SO641010.rpx I have added the table InventoryItem with the following join:SOLine - Left - InventoryItemSOLine.InventoryID - Equal - InventoryItem.InventoryIDI think this is correct, but have not been able to test it yet. I would like to add the attribute to SOLine, but do not understand the syntax.=IIf([SOLine.InventoryID]<>Null, Format( '{0}: {1}', [SOLine.InventoryID],[SOLine.TranDesc]),[SOLine.TranDesc]) How can I properly add attribute(s) with a line break {br} to this syntax?I found the attribute ID after adding the table and making the relations [InventoryItem.BRAND_Attributes], but not sure how to correctly add it to: =IIf([SOLine.InventoryID]<>Null, Format( '{0}: {1}', [SOLine.InventoryID],[SOLine.TranDesc]),[SOLine.TranDesc]) Thank you for your help

Using Parameter in GI Grouping

Hello everyone, Has anyone tried to use a Parameter in GI Grouping? I want to do something very simple. Using a Boolean Parameter I would like to add a grouping. To do so:I have created a <checkbox> parameter called “GroupByTask” allowing users to check/uncheck on GI as a parameter. I have added a grouping as “=IIf([GroupByTask]=True, [PMTask.TaskCD], '')”, In the result grid I have the exact formula as a column.When I run the inquiry I get an error saying “Must declare the scalar variable "@P0".” When I trace the query in SQL Profiler I see Acumatica generates a query that in Group By section has “CASE WHEN @P0 = 1 THEN [PMTask].[TaskCD] ELSE '' END” but the platform doesn’t declare any parameter and pass to the query for it. Any idea how I can make this work?@Gabriel MichaudNot sure if is going to be of any use but below I have copied the query that platform generates.SELECT SUM( [InnerQuery].[PMCostProjectionLine_usrHCLBudgetOriginalQty]) AS [PMCostProjectionLine_usrHCLBudgetO

showing AR credits and AP debits as negative numbers in GI by default.

It seems so many build in GIs don’t do this by default. We have to modify the GI for it to show as a negative number. Would be helpful if this was built into the GIs automatically. Is there any plan to do this in the future?

Trying to sort by grouping Customer Locations

I’m currently trying to set up a generic inquiry which lists me all shipments for which a confirmation or pick list haven’t been printed yet.The hard part is that I want to keep all customer locations grouped together, while sorting by the weight of the shipment.That means that the two shipments at the end of the inquiry are supposed to be right after the first shipment with the location description “100”.In general all shipments of a location are supposed to stay “together”, but the location with the highest weight should be the top of the list. Is there any way to do this in a list like that? I attached my xml as a reference.

Add user-defined fields or bank information per branch

Is there any way that we could create user-defined fields for a branch or somewhere we can add bank information per branch? We are wanting to pull bank information for each brank onto the ar invoices.

Remove links from Dashboard table data element.

Is there a way to remove the hyperlink from a column in a Dashboard Table.The Default Navigation is unchecked in the underlying GI but some columns still have active hyperlinks An example; we have a Dashboard with a table called “Canceled Retail Orders - Today”, this table shows any Retail order that was canceled for the current day, the columns in this table are Order Date, Last Modified On, Status, Order Nbr, Customer Order Nbr, Customer, Ship Via, and Last modified By. There are four columns that have active links, Order Nbr, Customer Order Nbr, which we want to have links, and Ship Via and Last Modified By which we don’t want to have active links. In the Generic Inquiry that feeds this table the Default Navigation box in the is unchecked for the Ship Via and Last Modified By but the data in these columns still show they are linked and if the user clicks on the data element, they are taken to the screen that shows the details for that column.As an example: If I click on any of the d

Initially, data won't show in generic inquiry.

Hi,My generic inquiry won’t display the data unless I pick anything from my parameter (Customer)first, then I need to delete it when I don’t need that filter yet. Given that the date is already specified, shouldn’t it display the data as soon as I open it?I think this also causes my pivot table to not display anything.Appreciate any help!

Generic Inquiries

Hi All,I want to make a GI for Sales Order, I have tables SOOrder and SOLine, I got the fields of SOOrder to display and of SOLine not. The thing is, 1 SOOrder can have multiple SOLine details (1 SO, multiple inventory items). I think it won’t display because of that, is that correct? But how I be able to get it?Thank you in advance!

Customer name not stretching with column

Hello,Initially, I found the Status and Customer columns narrow in width, so I just dragged the sides to stretch them. The Status content adjusted, but the customer content would not. I didn’t specify width in the GI creation, and even if I do, still no changes. Where should I make a change? Thanks!

GI results aren't filtered based on specified parameter.

Hi all,I am trying to make generic inquiries for the first time, but I got troubles.Can somebody please take a look at my set up?My result is, after specifying the SO Nbr and SO Type, the results grid still gives all and doesn’t filter based upon my parameter. Can someone point me to where I set it wrong? Thanks a lot!
