Question on Acumatica Open University Course T200 Customization Project

Good day! In Acumatica Open University Course T200, the user is instructed to create a Customization Project named PhoneRepairShop. However, a Customization Project named PhoneRepairShop has already been created in the preceding course T190. Should that pre-existing Customization Project be used, or should a new Customization Project be created with a different name?

Need backordered lines to print on Pick List

Is there an easy way to get non shipping (backordered) items to print on the pick list? We need visibility on the pick list so our warehouse people can look into other options when picking. Any help would be appreciated :)Thank you!

Button Show/Hide doesn't work

Hello Gang,As you may have noticed there is a logcal issue in Acumatica’s Approval Map Workflow injection to the Document workflow. In document worflow if an action is not allowed, its buttom is hidden but in Approval Map WF, the “Approve” & “Reject” buttons are always visible whether or not that user is an authorized approver. When user clicks on Approve/Reject then if not an authorized user, receives an error that “You are not an authorized approver!” What I want to do is to hide the Approve/Reject if the user is not an authorized approver. Here is my code. I do not get any error but the buttons are always visible. Is there any way to enable "Delete" prompt in Acumatica Data Enty grids without overriding the codes?

Acumatica forms delete buttons displays a delete confirmation when click on the recycle bin but in the data entry grids when user clicks on “-” or presses the “Delete” key the line is deleted without any prompt. I was wondering:is there any way to enable "Delete" prompt in Acumatica Data Enty grids without overriding the codes? orIs it possible to disable the “Delete” key press that doesn’t delete the row?The problem is it happens often users do not double click into a grid cell to highlight the test and then hit the delete button. They just click on the cell and press the delete buttom that results in deleting the whole row.

Anyone else having a Payment and Applications error after the last update?

We can no longer post payments to our system. There was apparently some update which gave us this error message on our login screen: Warning: customization failed to apply automatically after the upgrade.In all honesty, this system is too buggy to be used. I am seriously thinking of switching to a program like Yardi, which specializes in Real Estate. Imperiam is just a mess. Anyone else having this issue where items are not loading in Payment and Applications? This has happened in the past because of an update.

Hello All!We are attempting to migrate from Zoho to Acumatica, and it is easy to create export files from Zoho. But I cannot figure out how to create a proper “Import Scenario” to make it work. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Rate of Data Processing for Stock Items

Is there a standard data processing rate for stock items when syncing updates from Acumatica to BigCommerce via the native connector?We have over 150,000 SKUs in our database and we often mass update pricing for a large % of our items. The current rate we’re experiencing is only 5 items per minute. At this rate, it takes us 21 days to upload our changes to BigCommerce if we’re mass updating pricing on all records. Is this standard behavior or should performance be better?

Commission Calculation

I want to calculate commissions with some calculations.For one line item I want to deduct 20 from the base price and then calculate commission based on percentage. Can I limit a line item to be added only for one time in a Sales Order ? I need help on how can I implement this ?

How do I access a custom field from a PXSelector in another field?

Upload attachment to bill endpoint failes

I'm trying to upload an attachment to the endpoint bill in Acumatica Rest API but gets the error"Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object".I’m using the RestService class from  the Wiki page and the same PutFile function.Rs.PutFile("Bill", "bf73fde2-2a71-eb11-80bc-00155d79641e", "test.pdf", sr.BaseStream)The same call for stockItem works but not for bill? Using the id as key.Someone who has an idea

Create Payment from Process Bank Transactions with Payment Ref

On the process bank transactions screen I can create AR payments. However, I don’t see a place to put the payment ref number, so I am getting an error when I process. I see that I can globally turn off this requirement in AR, but I don’t want to do that. I would prefer to have a spot to enter it. Am I missing something?

BigCommerce Connector - How to get custom fields under Export Filtering drop down

Hi Team,I have created a custom field on Customers screen. Is there any feasibility to get this field under Field Name drop down, under Export Filtering tab, on Entities screen, for Customer entity. To control the customer export based on this checkbox.As if this checkbox is checked, those customers only should Prepare & Process. This I am trying to achieve on build 20.221.0021.

Require Single Project per Document

General contractor here. I was told by a trainer that we needed to select the “Require Single Project per Document” spec in AP Preferences. I don’t remember the reason, but when we enter bills, it makes our lives much more difficult to enter AP bills one project at a time. Is there any reason deselecting this option would be a negative thing?  Thanks,Hannah

Can a sales order have more than 1 document, unconditional discount

I have situation that requires multiple document level discounts on 1 sales order. I have these document level discounts set to manual and unconditional. On the discount tab user would add the discounts from the list manually. I can add 1 but If I add a 2nd of same type I get error below when saving sales order. Is there a setting that allows for multiple of these type of discounts.AR Error: Only one Document Discount allowed.To clarify - I’m not speaking of automatic discounts that allow for line, group, and document on the same sales order. I’m speaking of 2 document level discounts set to manual.

Production order linkage to purchase orders for GI

Hello,I want to be able to display the POs linked to a production order.Generic Inquiry, reports that type of thing.I don’t seem to be able to inspect any element to find a DAC or anything.  I usually would be asking for the SLQ Table but I know that isn’t relevant for Acumatica hosted.How would I be able to determine this for elements I can’t inspect?Does anyone know what I am looking for?  I need a “table” with production order ID and the linked PO(s).Thanks!

Production order Rollup Reports

So I am attempting to create a Generic Inquiry that would show a rollup of our Production Order. I want to see Materials and Labor issued to the “Job”. We have many order that can be nested 11+ levels deep. So I want to see the roll up to the “top Level” item. Has any one else accomplished this ? Would love to hear some others insight.

MRP and Past Due Dates

I need a refresher...if you have Past Due PO’s, Work Orders, Sales Orders, etc., what does MRP do with the items on those orders. Does it skip over them by default or are they included?My purchasing team is thinking the item in the attached pics should have a Safety Stock requirement in the list but I’m thinking there are enough open PO’s that the system doesn’t see a need for a Safety Stock order yet.Hopefully someone in the community can offer some insight!
