Deleted Lines in Cost Budget Accidentally

Hello, I have accidentally deleted lines in my cost budget and was wondering if there is a way to retrieve them as several invoices were sent out which is affecting my previously billed when I enter the new lines. Please help if you can.

How to add project item to subcontract

Hi all, I need some help to add the project to the subcontractAs you can see below. It shows an error I tried to figure out through the Project Task etc but not having much luck.Any idea?Another option I tried is adding the project directly to the line item. However when I queries the Project, it shows ‘x’ instead. As seen below. Any suggestion would be welcome.

Workers Compensation Rates without payroll

is it possible to specify workers compensation rates by hour without having the payroll module enabled? i saw the option to add a WC code under project preferences but no mention of a rate. this client does not plan on purchasing the payroll module so wanted to see if there were any other options? if this isn’t an option, would it be worth mentioning in the ideas forum? TIA

Drawing Logs - Usage Questions

I’m trying to understand the best practices around using drawing logs. How are most construction companies adding, organizing and searching through plans when uploaded as a drawing log. Our the complete pdf files that could be 100+ pages added as a single drawing log? When including drawing logs to RFI’s, submittals, and change requests are new drawing logs created and uploaded with only the specific page from the plans that is needed.Our Team has experience with AutoDesk Construction Cloud where a plan is uploaded and automatically parsed into sheets. When creating RFI’s, submittals, and change requests then then link to an individual sheet or sheets.With Acumatica it seems that we would need to use an external program to export the proper plan pages, potentially add markup and then link that new drawing log to the issue. Is my understanding correct or am I missing how the drawing logs should be used?

Users saving Common Dashboards with paramater filters pre-filled

We have a few common dashboards for different groups created. We are setting them up as user home pages - however I don’t see a way to save the parameter filters to their specific Branch/project manager. Is that possible instead of having to select it everytime?

Project Time card UI questions on daily comments, OT entry

To our clients looking to move to Acumatica, the Employee Time card function in Construction seems pretty cumbersome. But I hope someone can point me to better ways to do the following:How do you enter a note for a specific day of the week that can appear on invoices? The only workaround I can think of is to enter a line for everyday… OT entry seems cumbersome - Is adding a new line with the OT earnings type the only way? Thanks.

Project End Date

We are running into an issue with the Construction Project End Date due to the fact that we need to make end of year journal entry updates and to do so we must activate the project again. When we mark the project as closed after making our updated journal entries, it is updating the project end date to the current date which cause issues with our Project WIP report. Is it possible to manually set the Project End Date after Completing the project so that are reports remain accurate?

Purchase order Approval map - Task Approver

Hi, In timecard Approval we use Task Approver if it exist, if not we use Project Owner.Is it possible to do this for Purchase order and AP bills? I can reach task approver(((Transactions.TaskID.ApproverID))) in Rules Actions but I cannot reach it in Condition (E.G: If no task approver then use Project Owner)?Thanks!

Project Balance to Bill field

Is it possible to get the balance remaining to bill for a project contract on the Project Revenue Budget or Pro Forma Invoices screens as a dollar format? This is the Revised Budget Amount less the Actual Amount but it only appears in percentage format. We can compute on a GI or Report, but we’d like to see the dollar amount itself as a field.

Hi!Why is user sorting not saving from the Column Configuration window?For example, on the Projects screen, Cost Budget tab, I can sort by revised budget, but clicking the icon where the rows and columns meet and clicking OK does not save my sort.Thank you,Dave Z

Project Invoice Separates Project Task

The AR invoice for projects is showing the same inventory IDs on different lines because they are for different project tasks. Is it possible to adjust the report format so that it groups those lines into 1 line per inventory ID?I’ve tried playing around with the groupings but that is not working-I get a separate page for each inventory ID (and it still has more than 1 line).

Editing profile name doesn't update as expected

Hi!I’ve edited the project profile name to say “Project Hub” similar to the construction presales engineer demo:I noticed this shows up fine in some areas but in other areas it shows up as the original name “projects” when i drill into a specific project, we noticed that it only says Projects, not Project Hub (the link works fine, just visually I would like to see the updated name): this is what it looks like in the construction golden demo video: Am i missing a step or is this done via customization? I appreciate your help in advance!

Issuing inventory to project with price from AR sales price worksheet

We undertake periodic air-condition units’ maintenance for clients and the norm is the service and spares prices are agreed on annually. These negotiated prices differ from client to client and the AR sales worksheet handles that nicely. Expectation: All inventory hitting a client’s project either from inventory issue or project drop-ship should pick it prices from the agreed figures in the AR sales worksheet. These pricing will feed into the project billingQuestion: Can 2024 R1 handle that or this should be treated as an idea??

Project Allocation post to wrong period after change in Date Source Configuration

Hi All, I have changed the allocation rule configuration>Date Source from original transaction to Allocation Date. We have existing automation schedule for this. So, what we do is we turn off the automation schedule 10/31/2023 and change the date source configuration and turn on the automation 11/1/2023.I expect to post the allocation on the period when I run the allocation. Which is 11-2023 but there are some transactions that has been posted to 10-2023 period as screenshot shows. These transactions are from 10/31/2023 then the allocation automation runs at 11/01/2023. I expect that since I have changed the allocation date configuration to “Allocation Date”, these will post to 11-2023 period since the allocation runs 11/01/2023.Does the transaction previously created and posted already before the change in configuration carries the previous configuration?Appreciate any insights on this.Thank you very much. Is pmproject.salespersonid visible in the Projects screen?

DAC Schema Browser shows for PMProject lists SalespersonID as a field. The field is available to add to the GI but is not visible on the the Projects screen PM301000. Where can i see the SalesPersonId field on the projects screen? There are no customizations on the screen. Build 22.205.0026 +The multiple base currencies feature is enabled.
