We opted to use branches because we are technically a two branch company internally, however, as far as our customers are concerned we are one company, one branch. Because we opted for branches, the default customer statement (consolidated included) form wants to group AR documents by branch but this confuses our customers who expect all their documents in order by document date. This in spite of the AR Preferences consolidation setting set as below: I attempted to remove the Branch group in the report designer, and while this fixed the sort order, the “...AgeBalance00-05” fields started calculating as though only for the first branch.Further testing suggests the report was using the groupOrganization footer which does use the OrganizationAgeBalance00-05 fields rather than the customer equivalents, but both customer and organization are higher level groups than branch, so I don’t know why they would be recalculating as though per branch. Does anyone know how to keep branch configurati
I’m working on the following process graph:When debugging, the prepay.Record registers as null, despite the prepay having a single complete record of the invPrepayList resultset. Visual studio does not flag the application of the result.record.fields to the new rec fields as an error. It simply runs as though the record is null. Can anyone tell me what I am missing?
I’ve created a Remittance report in report designer and added it to an email template. The template is subscribed to the below business event: The GI is APPayments ← Vendors ← Contacts filtered for VendorClassID and DocType = Payment. All key fields are included. Despite this, when I bulk release payments from Release Payments, only the first record triggers and generates an email. Is this a configuration issue, or a limitation of GI based business events?
I’m having trouble getting external file storage to work when pointed to a Synology NAS.The NAS directory is mapped to the S:\ drive on my Acumatica server, and I am able to interact with it using my admin account. This is the same account I use when installing Acumatica. However, when I attempt to add either the S:\ drive or a C:\user\administrator\desktop directory as the external storage address, I get an invalid path error. This is not the case when I use a C:\ directory, so I assume it is user permissions related, but I do not know which user context Acumatica or IIS are running in to grant the needed permissions. Any input would be appreciated.
In 21R2, I had created a small customization project to handle UI tweaks. One of these was to alter the grids on GL40.40.00 and AR40.20.00 so that they would generate 200 records at a time which could be scrolled through, and the rest could be accessed via paging. I accomplished this with these settings on the grid. AdjustPageSize: ManualAllowPaging: TruePageSize: 200 After upgrading to 23R1, these settings no longer work, and AllowPaging appears to behave like a mutually exclusive switch between paging with auto page size and scrolling with manual page size. Is this just the new behavior of these settings? Are scrolling and paging not allowed simultaneously anymore?
Long story short: I’ve created a graph extension of the CustomerMaint graph. The extension adds a button to the attributes tab that instantiates a custom graph which changes the value of one of the attributes. Upon completion, I want the attributes grid to refresh and show the updated value, however I’ve tried…Base.Answers.View.RequestRefresh();and Base.Answers.View.Clear();Base.Answers.View.RequestRefresh();… but the grid will not refresh. The logic successfully changes the value and clicking the refresh button on the grid shows me exactly what I want, but I don’t know how to call that Refresh in the code or trigger it in the ASPX. Any Ideas?
I work for a mid size logistics brokerage. A large portion of our business involves outsourcing freight from owner/operators. We use a handful of GL accounts to keep certain charges due to these haulers separate. However, most of these are all 1099 NEC expenses. How do I set up 1099 defaults so that a bill generated for any of these GL accounts auto-populate the same 1099 box without updating each vendor or each bill individually?
