I have figured it out, so I had to post this for syntax purposes and for future head-banging.The trick to this screen, as mentioned before, is the ID (CABankTrans.TransID) field. This is the Primary for the table, but a few rules on how to use it for updates. It is has to be included as the first field for Details Untick CommitI found this whilst re-reading Troubleshooting Performance in Import and Export Scenarios in the help. There is a section about what commit is used for and how to speed up scenarios. In short because it is a field that can't be updated, it doesn't need to be committed, only used for a look-up when updating. By default it is ticked, so I trusted the system on that front. Once unticked, hey presto!!Glad I stayed committed to the finding the answer
After speaking on another forum I found the solution was to create an GI with the field in it. You can then use the Generic Inquiry Provider in Data Providers, to link to the Import Scenario. This also for a field to update another field in a non-customisation method.
Hi Gabriel,It was actually the client who had done a deal with a supplier for all the products that make up a Non-Stock Kit that they had created. He thought he could receipt the items in and it let him. He then checked with us if this the way to do it and found what had happened. We reversed the process and got him to put each line in manually after that.I guess he was looking at a quick way to add things. That is the nature of users and hard to QA for.
Additional to this I have found that Receipting a Non-Stock Kit doesn’t create a cost price for any of the components. This means I would suggest avoiding using Non-Stock Kits on Purchase Orders unless someone knows a way around this.
