Thanks for this thread, and the suggestions, very useful. We are on a SaaS model so SQL analysis will be tricky. Sometimes we get this error and sometimes we don’t. I have a particular (fairly simple) GI on the table AUAuditValues, which I am sorting by change date descending (the other indices don’t work for us) and this is where we sometimes see it. Maybe it’s internet speed related. Currently ± 3 million records.
Hi @eshahid98 Please find attached the GI’s that I created in the interim to overcome the issue. It gives the purchase order values and you can also add purchase receipt values to it. We are moving version 2022 R2 and I’m hoping this will be incorporated there!
I hope it saves you some time! It took me ages to find the right tables for those GI’s. I also checked the release notes for 2022R2 and was disappointed to see that it hasn’t happened yet. I’m going to log it as a bug! I think for us this has been one of the only real flaws in Acumatica so far.
Please ignore, rookie mistake on my part. I had not selected this map as the one to use in Project Preferences!
@BenjaminCrisman thank you for your reply! I’m unsure about how restriction groups by branch relates to GL? We are not restricting GL or Sub Accounts in this case, only the branches. I guess I’m just confused about why it doesn’t work for projects but does work in every other module?
Hi @MarciaW , Please vote for the Idea: Thanks Laura, done.
@Gabriel Michaud thank you for this, very useful and helpful! NotePopupText also works!
Hi @manikantad18 Thank you so much, I did see your post, and I did test this generic inquiry, thank you for sharing it. Unfortunately this isn’t working correctly, it is showing every user as having access to every RelationGroup. It is because of the way it is linked, there is no PKID for users in the RelationGroup: The block in red needs to show a field from the RelationGroup table, and there doesn’t seem to be anything there that is shared with the Users Table. If I find a solution, I will let you know!
