Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a moment and share some updates to the MVP program:
Streamlining the Acumatica MVP Programs
In the dynamic world of Acumatica, we have always valued the myriad talents that fuel our ecosystem. Over time, we've celebrated these contributions through two MVP programs: one for our skilled developers crafting custom solutions and another for the versatile professionals in roles like consulting, sales, and implementation.
However, as we keep growing and adapting, it’s become clear that a more unified approach can better serve our community. So, we're excited to announce that we’re combining our two MVP programs into one.
Why This Change?
- Unified Recognition: By merging into one program, we're acknowledging the diverse range of expertise within our community. Everyone, whether a developer, consultant, or sales expert, plays a pivotal role in Acumatica's progress, and this shift allows for more holistic recognition.
- Increased Networking Opportunities: A single MVP program facilitates better interaction among MVPs from varied backgrounds. This means more chances for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and broadening one's professional network.
- Enhanced Visibility: With one consolidated MVP program, MVPs can potentially gain more visibility in the broader Acumatica community. This prominence can translate into more professional opportunities and collaborations.
- Streamlined Processes: A single program means more straightforward criteria and processes, reducing ambiguity and making it easier for MVPs to understand how they can contribute and be recognized.
- Shared Learning and Growth: With MVPs from various backgrounds under one roof, there’s an enriched pool of knowledge and experiences. This fosters shared learning and offers MVPs a chance to diversify their skills.
- Strengthened Community Bonds: By recognizing everyone's unique contributions in a unified manner, we're creating an even stronger sense of community and camaraderie among our MVPs.
In essence, this change is designed not just for Acumatica's growth but to directly benefit our MVPs, enhancing their experience, opportunities, and sense of community.
What’s Changing?
For this year, the main shift is in the nomination process. Nominations for the MVP will come exclusively from Acumatica FTE employees or current MVPs. This ensures our MVPs are recognized by those deeply connected to Acumatica's mission.
While the nomination process is getting an update, MVP perks remain unchanged. You'll still enjoy the same benefits for your invaluable contributions.
Next year, we're simplifying things even more. There’ll be just one MVP category, recognizing anyone who adds value to the Acumatica community.
Moving Ahead
Merging the MVP programs is about adapting to better represent and value our community. It’s a nod to everyone’s contributions and a way to foster even stronger ties within our network.
Thanks for being part of our journey. We're optimistic about this change and look forward to seeing our community thrive even more in the unified MVP era.
