The client I am working with cannot process any move transaction on production orders because of this error. Has anyone seen this error or know the fix for it?

It looks like a number sequence issue. Does the client use lot or serial number? If so you should check the lot/serial number does not fit to the length of the number sequence.
They don’t use lot serial numbers. Can it be the description of the stock items?

Probably best to send this through Acumatica Support so they can look trace file and your data.
