Hello,

We are currently using the Send email function and selecting a notification template to build out the email body and file attachment. The body and to/cc from the notification template are working correctly just not attaching the invoice.

Notification template:

Email activity: no file attachment

Thank you,

KT

@ketiller I think Attached Reports section of email template only works with business events. Instead of Send Email button, why wouldn’t you use Email action or Print > Send. That way the invoice is automatically attached without additional configuration on the template.

@ketiller I am having the same issue. Did you end up finding a solution for this?

I’m running into the same problem here, was there any resolution?

Hi @manikantad18

Thanks for the sample notification template.

We have been trying to send them from the invoice and memo screen, using the following steps:

  1. Go to invoice and memo screen AR301000
  2. Selecting 3 dots for more actions
  3. Selecting “Send Email”
  4. This opens email activity
  5. In email activity, select more actions and select the source
  6. Select Notification template and template name

Hi @ketiller

I have created a simple notification template and added a report attachment settings.

Using send button on print invoice I can able to send the report with attachment,

Can you check if below attached email template is passing the report while sending, if working we need to cross verify the email template.

Hi @darylbowman

Thank you for the suggestion, still not populating the invoice on the email.

Best,

KT

Try adding a data source like this:

@darylbowman

Thanks for the suggestion, I am still getting the same error with no file population on the Send Email function within the invoice d memos screen.

Thank you,

KT

The keys for the ARInvoice table are DocType and RefNbr. I believe your problem may be that you’ve selected Reference Number as a report parameter but not Document Type:
