We are looking for an enhancement that allows us to create customer pricing by item/Customer Location or by Item class/Customer location. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated

Thanks,

Hello Bob,

You can use price class to distinguish between different locations and assign Customer Prices Class on the Sales Prices form.

Hi Irina, Thanks for the reply. I dont think the customer price class would be ‘unique’ enough as they have thousands of customers and each location is actually a job site (as opposed to a typical customer location). So a particular customer could also have dozens upon dozens of ‘locations’.- which would mean that we would need to necessarily maintain potentially hundreds (thousands?) of customer price classes

Hi @bscott68

Customer Price class is the only column that could be set at Customer location level, since there is no option available to set Customer Location and Item / Item class level pricing at present. As you rightly mentioned, using multiple price classes ( per location ) is the only out of the box option available.

You may add your comments and vote for the following thread found on ‘Ideas’ page. You may mention your business scenario, as using Customer price class is not feasible due to the number of customer location combination one has to use.

Here is the Ideas thread link :

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Have you heard of Rockton Pricing Management? That should be able to handle what you are requesting.
